WebHostingPad clients must apply for the Refer-A-Friend program ("RAF program") using the form below. If your application is accepted, you will receive an email confirming your acceptance into the program, sent to the email address you entered in the application. This acceptance email also includes your unique tracking link.
While most clients who sign up for the RAF program will be accepted, WebHostingPad reserves the right to deny you entry into the program. Your application will be denied if your account meets any of the following criteria:
If you have provided incomplete or inaccurate information in your application, WebHostingPad may contact you via email requesting clarification before accepting your application. WebHostingPad must be able to find your account in our system in order to generate your tracking link.
You may share your tracking link with your friends, family, coworkers, customers, or acquaintences. You can send your link directly through email or instant messaging, or you can share it publicly on social media or even your website. You can even share it with people you don't know — after all, how are we going to know?
We do have the following restrictions in place for link sharing:
When you are accepted into the RAF program, you receive an email containing a URL. This URL is your unique tracking link. It will look something like this:
Tracking links are unique to your WebHostingPad account, and will only track sign-ups to the WebHostingPad account you signed up with. When you are signed in to your client area, your tracking link will be displayed in the dropdown when you click Refer-A-Friend in the navigation bar.
Tracking links use a small piece of data called a cookie. When your friend clicks on your tracking link, a cookie is created and stored in their browser, and they are then forwarded to the WebHostingPad website. This cookie keeps track of the links on our site that your friend clicks, and fires when the "order complete" page is reached, generating a pending referral. If your friend has disabled cookies, the referral will not track, and WebHostingPad cannot honor payment for that referral.
When you have made a successful referral that resulted in a sign-up, the tracked sale will be set to "pending" in our system for 30 days. This pending period exists to help protect against credit card fraud, identity theft, and other abusive behaviors, and is fairly standard in the industry, and for many businesses with 30-Day Money Back Guarantee policies.
After the pending period has passed and the tracked sale has been processed and confirmed as valid, you will be sent the appropriate earnings in the payment method you specified when you signed up. Earnings are dependent on the type of hosting plan your referral signed up for. You can see the corresponding amounts for each plan listed on the Refer-A-Friend Program page.
WebHostingPad offers two payment methods for Refer-A-Friend participants:
WebHostingPad reserves the right to deny, delay, reserve, reverse, or otherwise alter payment for the Refer-A-Friend Program at its sole discretion, especially if there is significant financial risk, or if your account is in violation of our abuse terms.
In the event you do not receive an expected payment for a successful referral, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org. Our representatives will be able to offer you more information about the status of your referral and earnings.
Earnings are paid out for new sign-ups only. Successive purchases by former referrals, existing clients, or renewals will not generate earnings for the RAF participant.
Self-referrals are not allowed. All self-referral earnings will be removed from your account. Any hosting account with information similar to or matching your account will be considered a self-referral, and removed, at WebHostingPad’s sole discretion. This includes, but is not limited to, first and last names, email address, IP address, phone number, street address, name on credit card, PayPal information, or any other self-identifying account information. Signing up on behalf of another individual is also considered a self-referral and earnings will not be given on such referrals.
WebHostingPad understands that some RAF participants will have the same surname or address as their referral, in cases where you refer family members to WebHostingPad. In such referrals, a WebHostingPad employee will review both accounts and make an educated desicion at their discretion. You may also contact email@example.com to clarify the situation, provide additional information or verification, or have the referred party validate the reason for matching or similar pieces of information on the two accounts.
We welcome web developers and designers to sign up for our RAF Program, with a few minor stipulations:
WebHostingPad reserves the right to remove you from the RAF Program at any time, for any or no reason, with or without warning, and at WebHostingPad's sole discretion. Removal from the program will immediately render void any unpaid payments or credit earned from the RAF Program.
WebHostingPad's Refer-A-Friend Program is offered in Good Faith. Dishonest or destructive behavior in regard to the Refer-A-Friend Program is grounds for permanent removal from the program, and may result in account termination if deemed necessary.
WebHostingPad reserves the right to pause, disable, alter, or remove the Refer-A-Friend Program and/or the Refer-A-Friend Terms at any time, with or without prior notice, for any or no reason, at its sole discretion.

The initial quota for disk space is 10 GB (gigabytes), which the majority of users will never exceed. If you have used 90% or more of this quota, you may contact WebHostingPad to request an increase, which WebHostingPad will grant you, free of charge, if and only if you meet the following requirements:
WebHostingPad reserves the right to suspend, without prior notification and at its sole discretion, your account if your site is found to be in violation of the terms or service, including use of your hosting space to store media or emails. You are solely responsible for removal of any and all excess media, email, or files to meet the criteria of these terms, and/or to avoid suspension. If you wish to set up POP3 or IMAP to store your emails elsewhere, WebHostingPad Support will help you, with the understanding that we are under no obligation to do so.
WebHostingPad offers unlimited bandwidth with its shared hosting packages, with the understanding that “unlimited” is incremental. The initial quota for bandwidth is 100 GB (gigabytes) per month, which the majority of users will never exceed. If you have used 90% or more of this quota, you may contact WebHostingPad to request an increase, which WebHostingPad will grant you, free of charge, if you meet the following requirements:
WebHostingPad reserves the right to deny bandwidth increase, suspend your account, or take further action, if your site or account does not comply with the terms of service, including if your bandwidth usage is caused by illegal or malicious means, unintentional or not, or your site is compromised in such a way as to alter bandwidth usage significantly, to the harm of other users. In the event that your bandwidth usage is caused by malicious or unnatural means, and 1) the malicious or unnatural means are resolved and no longer acting on the account or site, and 2) you still use 90% or more of your bandwidth quota, you may then request a bandwidth increase, which WebHostingPad will, at its sole discretion, decide to grant or deny. WebHostingPad is not liable for any denial of bandwidth increase, or loss or damages resulting from that denial, that occur.
Website transfers from a previous host to WebHostingPad will be done free of charge. This free transfer is only valid when the website being transferred is currently hosted with a different web hosting company. Any transfers from one WebHostingPad account to another WebHostingPad account in an attempt to avoid paying renewal fees, or for any disingenuous reason, will result in a $24.95 transfer fee for our time and assistance, at WebHostingPad’s sole discretion.
Transfers consist of website files and databases only. Email addresses, FTP accounts, subdomains, addon domains, parked domains, and other services, addons, or features must be recreated in cPanel with WebHostingPad.
The maximum account transfer size cannot exceed 2 GB.
You are entitled to only 1 free transfer per WebHostingPad account. In the event you wish to transfer multiple outside hosting accounts to WebHostingPad and consolidate them into one, additional fees will apply based on the total number of hosting accounts you are consolidating. WebHostingPad does not recommend consolidating a VPS or dedicated service with multiple cPanel accounts into a single shared hosting account. However, if you wish to do this, only one cPanel account will be transferred to WebHostingPad for free. Any additional accounts being transferred for consolidation will incur additional fees.
You must provide WebHostingPad with your previous hosting account’s FTP details, control panel login, MySQL login, and any other requested information for WebHostingPad to successfully transfer the account.
WebHostingPad cannot guarantee a successful transfer, although we will try our very best, if any of the following conditions are met:
WebHostingPad offers 1 free domain name registration to new customers who order a hosting account.
This free domain is valid for 1 year of domain registration, and must be used with the “FREEDOMAIN” coupon code.
The “FREEDOMAIN” coupon code must be used at the time of sign-up, in conjunction with a domain registration in your cart, for this offer to be honored.
The “FREEDOMAIN” coupon code has a maximum value of $14.95. Any domain registered that exceeds this amount will not be free and the customer is responsible for paying any cost exceeding $14.95.
The “FREEDOMAIN” coupon code cannot be used in conjunction with any other coupon code, special offer, or discount.
Domain transfers or additional domain registrations are eligible for the free domain offer if requested within the first 30 days of sign-up, and if the “FREEDOMAIN” coupon code was not already used on your account.
After the first year, domains are priced and renewed at the regular yearly domain registration rate.
If you previously took advantage of a free domain for life offer and you upgrade to a new pricing package, it voids the offer, and that domain is no longer free for life.
Each of WebHostingPad’s shared hosting plans carries an unconditional 30-day money back guarantee. If you are not completely satisfied within the first 30 days, you will be given a full refund.

All sales of services and products listed above are final and non-refundable, and WebHostingPad reserves the right to pursue all available courses of action to obtain payment.
Any account that is or has been in violation of WebHostingPad’s Abuse Terms or General Terms of Service is not entitled to a refund. This applies to currently and formerly abusive or harmful accounts, regardless of your awareness. Please refer to the General Terms for our Abuse Policy.
There is a hosting industry standard to offer discounted prices to new sign-ups, and then revert back to regular rates once the first term is up - much like phone, television, and internet providers.
WebHostingPad also follows this standard, so the prices you see listed are for new clients only. But while other hosts will double or even TRIPLE your rates after the first term, we only add $2.00 more per month to our shared hosting prices. That makes our regular rates some of the most competitive in the industry.
In order to maintain our US-based support and our advanced hosting infrastructure, we simply can't grant you the special offer for renewals. But that doesn't mean you have to break the bank.
